For most people, gelato is a luxury treat, a delight for the taste buds, but very bad for the waistline. A guilty pleasure only to be enjoyed on special occasions. But not anymore.

For nearly two decades, Gelamisto founder and President Director Mina Lie has been working to change that way of thinking. Using only the best natural ingredients imported from Italy, Mina has developed a delicious range of gelatos (including our signature gelato cakes), sorbetos (Italian sorbet), waffles and healthy drinks that place the emphasis on great taste and good health.

With a choice of around 100 flavors, with new ones developed every month, Gelamisto takes pride in the fact that its fresh and healthy products are:

• Low in fat
• Preservative and sweetener free, using only the best natural ingredients, and are freshly made every day
• Some flavors are sugar free, so are suitable for diabetics (recipe developed in consultation with diabetes doctors), and those on a diet. Many other flavors can be made sugar free on request
• Suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those with high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels because they contain no eggs (instead using powdered seaweed), animal gelatin or animal fat.

A unique Gelamisto specialty is using real rose petals for its healthy Rose Petals Dew gelato. The health properties of rose petals include:

• Help in detoxification of the body
• They contain anti-oxidants which help protect our bodies against free radicals which can lead to cancer and other illnesses
• Help protect and beautify the skin.

We also use salad oil rather than butter to make its waffles delicious and healthy.

We opened our first Gelamisto store in Jakarta at our present location in Taman Anggrek Mall.

As well as gelatos, sorbetos and waffles, Gelamisto has created a delicious selection of healthy drinks and teas: Luo Han Guo and Kiat Na work as general tonics to soothe the body, help with sore throats, loss of voice and cold/flu symptoms; chrysanthemum and rosella teas that contain anti-oxidants and help beautify the skin.

But you don’t just have to visit our store to sample the Gelamisto experience:

• Our products, especially our signature gelato cakes, are perfect for those important special events and functions: birthdays, marriages, social gatherings etc
• You can even create your own flavors (minimum order required)
• We also cater to restaurants.
